By utilizing barcode technology in the workshop, you can immediately identify:
- Workers that are Idle right now, and for how long!
- What Vehicle each worker is working on at the moment.
- Status of any vehicle in the workshop
- Whether or not a worker is about to spend too much time on a Task

Customer Service staff no longer have to query the manager, or call the production office to identify the progress of the vehicle. They simple click our Jobs screen and they can see which tasks have been completed, and which are still being worked on.
Supervisors can identify tasks that are almost completed, and can begin to move vehicles into place, or investigate why a worker is working on a vehicle that was not planned to be worked on. More importantly, they can tell which vehicle/task is taking too long and can remedy the situation prior to it costing the business hours of unpaid work.
Operations managers or owners can view at a glance view workers that are either idle, or not working on their assigned activity. It is not uncommon for WebTRIM clients to log into the Live Monitoring screens from home (or even whilst on holiday!), view staff that are currently idle or not working on the correct task, and phone the workshop to correct the situation. The impact of this can be phenomenal; even when you are not present – workers are still fully aware that you could be watching their every move!
